About Gaidra U. Joseph
Gaidra U. Joseph is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with 32 years of military experience. Throughout her service, she has encouraged many individuals inside and outside of her ranks to live life, abundantly, well. Some of her most memorable military expertise are mentioned, below:
1985 – 1989
She was commissioned in the Army Reserve in May of 1987 through the Reserve Officers Training Corps program (ROTC) and received her bachelor degree in finance from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas.
1989 – 2017
Since joining the military, she has been assigned to Headquarters, Third U.S. Army in Fort McPherson, Georgia as a Personnel and Supply Officer. In October 1990, she deployed to Saudi Arabia as the Supply Officer in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm where she would earn her first Bronze Star for exemplary service.
In May of 1994, she served in the 335th Signal Command in East Point, Georgia as a Management Control Officer. In May 1998 to October 2001, she was assigned to Headquarters, First Army in Forest Park, Georgia as a Budget Officer.
From October 2001 to December 2007, she would later serve in various positions, Senior Budget Officer, Operations Officer and Logistics Officer in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF) in the state of Georgia.
In January 2008, she was selected to serve in the Regular Army, immediately assigned to the 3rd Expeditionary Command (Sustainment) in Fort Knox, Kentucky as a Chief Logistics Officer. While in this position, she deployed to Balad, Iraq, earning a Bronze Star medal for exemplary service.
In January 2010, she was assigned to the 266th Finance Management Center, Kaiserslautern, Germany and while there, deployed to Kuwait as the Director of Cash Management in support of OIF/OEF, earning a Meritorious Service Medal for exemplary service. Upon her return from OIF/OEF, she was assigned to U.S. Army Europe in Heidelberg, Germany, as the Executive Office.
Finally, in May 2013, she was appointed to the Brigade Modernization Command in Fort Bliss, Texas as a Resource Management Officer where she would decide to finish up her last leg of active service in the United States Army Reserves (USAR). While in the USAR, she was assigned to the 75th Training Command, Houston, Texas; serving in various positions such as Observer/Controller, Deputy Comptroller and, Deputy Chief of Staff. Gaidra officially retired from military service in June of 2017:

Gaidra is currently employed by Baker Hughes General Electric as Director of Services and Finance Programs and the proud owner of Relaxing In You, LLC – a motivational service, both in Houston, Texas.
